This Hydro Asia is convened every year since it was started in 2007, and the 8th meeting will be held in July this year.
The philosophy of this collaboration is to understand and discuss the water resources practice and policy, and then to develop methodologies for adaptive management and to exchange the idea for the solution of the water related problems, especially in the
Asian monsoon regions.
With the growing concerns of shortage of water resource and water disasters caused by climate change, there is a need to solve such issues through better integrated and sustainable water management.
And holding Hydro Asia will be very meaningful at this important juncture. This event will serve as an opportunity for professors and students from world around such as Korea, France, China, Spain, Singapore, Japan, Vietnam, and so on, to come together and explore ways to resolve water-related problems and share effective water management knowledge. It is our great wish that you establish strong networks of friendship among the participants gathered.
